Elizabeth M. Petoskey BS, MBA, JD

Elizabeth Petoskey is an Ann Arbor native, and practices in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust law. Her practice accepts matters with estates of every size, and regularly works with a variety of property owners, from young families to executives of closely held companies.

Attorney Petoskey works regularly with all local trust departments, including the Ann Arbor Commerce Bank, Bank of Ann Arbor, Comerica, JPMorgan Chase Bank, KeyBank, National City Bank and the United Bank & Trust.

Mrs. Petoskey has been an estate planner since she started practicing law in 1985 - a choice that made it much easier to maintain a full time law practice while meeting the needs of three children and a family.

“I find it rewarding to help clients through difficult legal and family issues. Estate settlement challenges families in new ways, which surprise many family members as issues arise. Estate planning has its own challenges as parents try to be fair to their children, while balancing the varying needs of each family member. I take pride in organizing the process and putting issues in terms everyone can understand.” -Elizabeth Petoskey

Marsha Philbrook, Mrs. Petoskey’s secretary, is an integral part of our outstanding client service. She is the “front line” contact person, and manages the day-to-day matters with our clients in a friendly, efficient and responsive way.
