Donald A. Winningham
Donald A. Winningham was born in Flint and grew up in Howell, Michigan.
Mr. Winningham served as a law clerk at Conlin, McKenney & Philbrick P.C. while completing his legal studies, and joined the firm as an Associate Attorney after being admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2004. Attorney Winningham has focused on civil litigation since joining the firm.
Education:
Mr. Winningham received his B.A. Degree, (cum laude), in History and American Studies from Kalamazoo College in 2001. He worked as an intern for the United States Attorney's office in Grand Rapids in 1999.
At graduation, he was awarded an annual prize for excellence in History scholarship and received high honors on his senior research project, focusing on the Cold War from 1977 to 1983.
Attorney Winningham came to Ann Arbor in 2001 to attend the University of Michigan Law School. After serving as a clerk for the United States Department of Justice in 2002, and focusing on trial advocacy in law school, Mr. Winningham received his Law Degree in 2004.
