Ann Arbor's Law Firm
Since 1937
About the Firm
One Firm. Full Service.
Since 1937.
When Edward Conlin, John W. Conlin, Sr. and Albert Parker opened their law practice in 1937, Ann Arbor was a city of 30,000. The firm they started has grown organically with the community it serves, and today Conlin, McKenney & Philbrick remains one of the largest and most established firms in the region.
That breadth matters. A business acquisition often raises tax-planning questions. A real estate closing may require zoning analysis. An employment dispute can escalate into litigation overnight. Insurance coverages and disputes pervade modern life. CMP Law handles it all under one roof, with attorneys who know each other’s work and readily collaborate across specialties.
The State Bar of Michigan has recognized the firm at the highest level of its Pro Bono Circle of Excellence. Those credentials are not decorative. They reflect a firm culture built on preparation, accountability, and commitment to the people and institutions of Southeast Michigan.
