
Nicole M. Ajami is an attorney whose practice focuses on real estate, real property, landlord representation, property tax appeals, municipal law, appellate law, and commercial litigation. She currently serves as an Assistant City Attorney and Prosecutor for the City of Ypsilanti, where she handles a variety of criminal and civil matters for the municipality.
Nicole has also been a member of the Dearborn Heights Board of Review since January 2023. In this role, she listens to complaints from residential and commercial property taxpayers regarding yearly assessments and/or poverty status. She evaluates the merits of each case and, when appropriate, authorizes changes or corrections to the assessment roll.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
