Thomas D. Luczak has been an attorney since 1982 as well as a Certified Public Accountant since 1987. His early career as a commercial litigator preceded his concentration on business transactions, retirement plan and benefit consulting, general business practice and estate planning. He joined the national accounting firm of Price Waterhouse (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) in 1984 and rejoined the practice of law shortly after satisfying examination and practice requirements for CPA certification. Tom’s combination of disciplines has enhanced his ability to serve his clients and to better appreciate complicated business and personal issues inherent in any transaction or event for which his clients require legal services.
Tom was directly responsible for a favorable judgment in a landmark ERISA case in federal court. Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. v Pearson, 848 F. Supp. 1326, E.D. Mich. (1984).
Tom has delivered presentations and lectures to various trade groups, including continuing education courses for Michigan accountants.
“My goal as a business attorney is to provide cost effective services to each client by dedicating myself to producing quality services in a timely fashion, and establishing clear lines of communication with my clients to ensure their needs are met.”
