
Albert L. Balewski was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He received his undergraduate degree in 2011 from Western Michigan University and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2014. Mr. Balewski was a member of the University of Toledo’s Law Review Executive Committee as the Executive Articles Editor.
Mr. Balewski has experience as an in-house counsel for a large national healthcare provider and a national private equity owned warehousing solutions company. This experience allows him to advise clients not only on legal risks, but also the practical business considerations that are associated with their decisions.
Mr. Balewski regularly advises clients in business formations and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, private-equity funded business sales, business succession planning, liquor license sales and acquisitions, purchase, supply, and distributor contracts, service agreements, IT agreements, employee handbooks, workplace policies, general employee issues, employee stock awards, phantom equity awards, and other employee compensation plans, executive employment agreements, physician employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, consulting agreements, and healthcare regulations and laws.
