Christopher J. Wallaker

Christopher J. Wallaker is a Shareholder at Conlin, McKenney & Philbrick, P.C., where he focuses on real estate, banking, and corporate law. Born and raised in Michigan, Christopher earned his undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University, then attended Wayne State University Law School at night while working full time. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2013.

Christopher’s practice covers both commercial and residential real estate transactions: acquisition, sale, financing, and leasing. He forms new businesses on behalf of clients, including limited liability companies and corporations, and represents lenders in a range of commercial financing transactions, from real estate mortgage loans to construction loans. That lender-side experience gives him practical insight into how financing institutions evaluate deals, a perspective that benefits borrowers and developers as well. Christopher previously served as the chair for the City of Dexter Zoning Board of Appeals, a role that reflects his familiarity with the land use and regulatory issues that often accompany real estate transactions throughout Washtenaw County and Michigan. In addition, Christopher previously served as Co-Chair of the Washtenaw County Bar Association Real Estate Section, further demonstrating his involvement in the local real estate legal community.
