Elizabeth Petoskey is an Ann Arbor native, who has specialized in estate planning, trusts, and probate for more than thirty years. She is pleased to work with estates of every size, from the more simple to the most complex. Mrs. Petoskey brings a team approach to estate planning, by coordinating her clients’ estate plans with their financial advisors, to provide a plan that truly meets the particular needs of each client. She enjoys helping clients plan for the success of future generations, and she takes pride in being able to simplify and address the special challenges families face in settling a loved one’s estate.

“I find it rewarding to help clients through difficult legal and family issues. Estate settlement challenges families in new ways, which surprise many family members as issues arise. Estate planning also has its challenges, especially as parents try to be fair to their children, while they balance the varying needs of each family member. I take pride in organizing the process and putting issues in terms everyone can understand.”

Mrs. Petoskey received her Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University, her Master of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University, and her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She enjoys an AV (highest) rating from Martindale Hubbell.
