Marjorie M. Dixon

Marjorie M. Dixon is a Shareholder at Conlin, McKenney & Philbrick, P.C., where she practices business law and real estate law. An Ann Arbor native who attended both undergraduate and law school at the University of Michigan, Marjorie has spent more than three decades building a practice that serves clients on both sides of the commercial and residential divide.

Marjorie’s real estate work covers the acquisition, sale, and financing of commercial properties, agricultural land, and homes. She has developed particular expertise in commercial leasing, including ground lease development, and her client roster reflects that range: manufacturing companies, technology firms, retailers, farmers, developers, and individuals buying or selling a home or vacation property. On the business side, Marjorie handles entity formation (LLCs and corporations), contract drafting and review, employment agreements, human resources counseling, and the purchase or sale of established businesses across multiple industries.

That dual practice means Marjorie frequently coordinates across CMP Law’s practice groups. A business acquisition may require real estate due diligence. An employment dispute may involve the firm’s employment law team. A commercial real estate purchase may need input from the liquor licensing team. Rooted in the Community

Outside the office, Marjorie has served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Washtenaw, the Board of Trustees of Forest Hill Cemetery in Ann Arbor, and the Board of Directors of the Children’s Literacy Network. She has also been active with United Way Power of the Purse and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
